The BWH Association of Multicultural Members of Partners (AMMP) last month awarded scholarships to ten full-time employees pursuing degrees and certificates in fields including nursing, radiologic technology and social work.
“The fact that you are pursuing advanced education on the side speaks to your unwavering commitment and dedication to BWH,” said Lisa Ponton, JD, vice president of Human Resources, at a ceremony honoring the recipients.
AMMP presents the scholarships annually to support employees dedicated to the advancement of multicultural professionals into leadership roles.
“Your support for each other and BWH is commendable,” BWH President Gary Gottlieb, MD, MBA, said. “It’s your turn to take the next steps and make an investment in the future as leaders at BWH.”
AMMP is open to all Partners employees committed to the advancement, retention, recruitment and development of multicultural professionals into leadership roles.
